Swimming and a Starry Night
The annual swimming party at the water park is a great family tradition and great way to say good-bye to another summer reading program of activities. The kids and adults had a great time together on a very warm night. The water was super-inviting in the 90+ degree temperatures! And after the swimming party those who were interested in gazing at the stars met at the high school football field to hear Ross Dinwiddie explain where constellations and stars were. It started out a little cloudy but as it got really dark we could see millions of stars!!!! The next post will have all photos of July 17th evening.
