Busy Week at the Library for Girls' Mystery Club and Preschool Story Time

The girls had their first mystery party on Monday, Octoer 29.  It was a Molly Mystery Halloween Party and 9 girls attended.  They each had parts in the script of the mystery where they had to solve the problem of what happened to their Halloween candy.  Everyone had a great time.  The girls picked up their packets for November, which is the American Girl Kaya's month.  There will be NO party at the end of November but there are activities the girls need to do which are fun and educational.  The girls need to bring their finished sheets back to the library towards the end of November and show the librarians in order to get credit for that month.

The boys' packets for November are available for pick up.  The series for November is Nate the Great.  There will be a boys' mystery party on November 26, the Monday after Thanksgiving, in the library at 3:30 PM.  We will be reading a Hank the Cowdog play and everyone will have a part. Be sure to get set up with a file for each reader that shows what they have done, books read, and activities that were done each month.

The preschool gang showed up dressed in their Halloween finery for story time on Tuesday, October 30.  The whole time was spent reading about spiders, singing silly spider songs, and making their handprints into giant googly-eyed spiders.
