4-H AND THE LIBRARY--- HAND IN HAND FOR LEARNING AND FUN!

THE RAZZLE DAZZLE KIDS 4-H CLUB

The library is forming a 4-H club for children who are not affiliated with any other 4-H club.  This means kids can easily do projects and participate in the county fair!  Our library club is going to be called THE RAZZLE DAZZLE KIDZ.  We will not have regular scheduled meetings or anything very organized.  Instead, we will have some suggestions for  fun 4-H projects that are related to the themes of the weeks. And the project forms will be available for you to pick up. We may even have some other activities once in a while, for instance with electricity, where we have an instructor teach a unit that can be made into  4-H entry for the fair.  It's a great way to learn and be part of the 4-H world.

INCENTIVE GAME: ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, READ!

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, READ!!!

Earn prizes and surprises during the summer by playing this activities game.  Here's how it works:

1.  Pick up a game sheet at the library.  There are 11 different
     activities listed.

2.  Complete eight of the activities.  Use a pen and make an X
     over
each star that you complete.  On the back of the sheet there
     is
a place to record a bit of information about your activity.

3. Turn the sheet with your eight activities listed on the back in to
the front desk and receive a surprise!!!
4.  You can do another sheet if you want.  Try some different tasks
     next time!

Here's what the back of the sheet looks like:

Learn By Flying! How Drones Can be Used for Fun and for Learning!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1:00 - 2:30 PM

Roadrunners and Falcons all meet at 1 PM, but some of the time will be in separate groups.

Drone technology is everywhere, and it’s time to learn how it works and what you can learn from flying one!  Come on an adventure as we learn how a drone flies, what it can be used for, and how you can someday make a living flying a drone!

Mr. Cameron Hudson, high school principal of High Plains Community Schools, will present a fascinating program about drones and how they will be part of our futures!
Hopefully it will be a nice day and we  can be outside to see what a drone can do!
